How to Use Our Moss, Weed, & Algae Remover

Our moss and algae killer is easy to apply and delivers exceptional results with minimal effort. To use it properly, follow these steps:

Prepare the Surface: Sweep away loose debris, leaves, or heavy build-up of dirt and grime from the area you plan to treat.

Wet the Area: Lightly dampen the surface with clean water. This helps the solution spread evenly and penetrate more effectively.

Dilute the Solution: Mix the moss and algae remover at a ratio of 1:4 with water for optimal solution strength.

Apply Generously: Using a watering can or sprayer, apply the diluted solution liberally across the affected surface. Ensure the entire area is fully saturated for maximum impact.

Leave to Dry: Allow the solution to dry naturally on the surface without rinsing. This gives the active ingredients time to work and break down moss, weed, algae and lichen at the root.

Always wear protective gloves and goggles during application. Avoid contact with eyes, skin and fabrics, as the solution contains ADBAC and may cause skin burns or damage to materials. The product is toxic to aquatic life and should be kept out of reach of children. We also don’t recommend using it on tarmac.

For heavily soiled areas, you may need to apply the application a second time and scrub lightly.

Application Information Summary:

1. Sweep away loose debris and areas with a heavy build-up of dirt and grime.
2. Wet surface area with water.
3. Dilute AMB HYGIENE® Moss, Weed and Algae Remover at a ratio of 1:4.
4. Apply product to surface using a watering can or sprayer.
5. Once the surface area is fully saturated, leave to dry off, do not rinse.

Important Note:

It is important that the area to be treated is fully saturated with the product and then allowed to dry off, it should not be rinsed.
Most ingrained organic matter and grime will be removed after one application, but sometimes a second application may be required to remove very stubborn areas.

Precautions:

AMB HYGIENE® Moss, Weed and Algae Remover contains ADBAC as an active ingredient. Take care to avoid contact with fabrics during application.
Toxic to aquatic life, wear protective gloves and goggles at all times. AMB HYGIENE® Moss, Weed and Algae Remover can cause skin burns, avoid contact with eyes. Keep out of the reach of children. Not recommended for use on Tarmac.
